Nice 1st game 7-2 win. Can’t wait for the weekend, I’m going to possibly both Saturday and Sunday’s game. Now if only the Angels can pull through tonight (currently 3-1 Boston).

The Dodgers just may make it all the way to the World Series. They’re the hottest team in the NL and as long as Manny keeps hitting, they’ll keep winning.
The Angels will get swept for the 4th consecutive time by the Red Sox though. Even if Beckett is only at 70% today, the Halos don’t stand a chance. The only team with a chance of beating the Sox is the Rays because they’re the only other team with a pitching staff that comes close to the Sox. Once again, the World Series will be decided in the ALCS. No one in the NL had the pitching to beat either the Sox or the Rays. There aren’t many complete teams in the NL. You’ve either got teams that are all offense or all pitching. For example, give the Giants some offense and they could be dangerous with Cain and Lincecum toeing the rubber.
