Christmas 2016 was celebrated with my parents this year. We had a great time. We also had a wonderful visit from Peggy and the snow storm of the year that trapped Kelly in Portland overnight. Overall it was a great month filled with lots of holiday cheer.

We had a blast this October with a bunch of Harvestfest visits to farms around the Willamette Valley and then we were able to celebrate Halloween. It was nice having the weather hold up for Halloween and being able to trick or treat with no rain.

August brought us lots of hot weather up here in Salem and Kelly and Abby started it with a trip down to Southern California. While they were gone I refinished our deck. We then finished it up with a trip to the 2016 Oregon State Fair.
