Well I just got back from softball.  We lost, which sucks, because the team we were playing was not that good.  They just had key hits and were able to keep the score close after we were able to take an big early lead.  But there was one bright moment in the game.  In my second at-bat of the game with 2 on I roped a opposite field three run homerun.  My first ever in my softball career.  From the moment the ball left the bat I felt it could have been the big on.  Their right fielder just wasn’t playing well and my ball got by him when he let up on the play and rolled past him.  As I was rounding second the shortstop on the other team was telling me I could slow down and take it easy but I wasn’t hearing any of it, I was running full out till I got to home.  It was a great feeling to finally get that first one done and over with, especially with this being my 7th or so league.  Hopefully next time my HR will help for the win.

Well we started our Fall 2007 season tonight for the Garden Grove Possums.  We tied the Insect Tribe 10-10.  We couldn’t get our offense going with only the 4th inning scoring multiple runs (8).  I went 2 for 3 with 1 Run 1 RBI and 1 2B.  In the top of the 6th I muffed a play at the plate that ended up costing us a couple runs and the lead.  But I was able to bounce back in the bottom of the inning and doubled in the tying run.  The game ended with me on 3rd.

I won a Dr. Pepper Beanie! All I had to do was drink a 12 pack and eleven 21 oz. Diet Dr. Peppers! And now they are sending it to me in the mail and I should get it in the next 6 weeks. I’m going to drink even more Dr. Pepper for more codes. If anyone happens to want to give me their codes I’ll gladly take them. :)

Other then that we won out Softball game on Wed. night! I was 1 for 2 with 2 sacrifice flys, a walk, a triple, 2 runs and 2 RBI. I got the triple to lead off the top of the 7th. I also made a close tag at the plate in the bottom of the second to save a run and get the 2nd out. We one the game 27-21 and ended up in 2nd place for the league.

For the summer season I batted .483 with 12 runs, 11 RBI, 2 2b, 3 3b and 4 walks.
